Things, in general, cannot be changed. They are as they are, and only by carrying on with life, regardless of what qualities have been assigned to the past, can we ultimately appreciate the many joys that life has to offer. Music, to me, is a tribute to this enjoyment, in all of its mediums. Music is a coping device for motivation through the bad times, it is a hopeful voice for the future, it is a homage to pleasure, to solitude, and to those moments in life when you can't help but wear a smile on your face. I began flirting with music in 1999, when I purchased my first electric guitar from a pawn shop in St. Cloud, Minnesota. After a few years of dabbling, I began playing in bands throughout my adolescence. In 2003, a punk rock band, Tomorrows Forgotten, was formed with Mike Hynes (from The Run) on vocals, and myself on lead guitar. We played together until late 2007, when the band dismembered, and we all went our own ways. The Run was formed in late 2008 as a full band, so to this day I'm playing lead guitar and singing with Frank, Adam, and Mike - and loving every minute of it. |

March 5th
Hey all. It was great to see all of you out this past Saturday at the Fine Line in Minneapolis. We had a fantastic turnout, and a hell of a lot of fun because of it. We've got some upcoming shows scheduled in the great North, including March 20th at the Red Carpet in St. Cloud. The sound there is fantastic, so it certainly shouldn't be a disappointment. We'll also be recording in the coming weeks, so come back to take a listen soon. We've got some really fun stuff in the making.
