Greetings. I'm Adam Richard Hrtanek. People like to call me Saves. I began life in Rochester, MN closer to 23 years ago. I was the boring, chubby kid growing up. When I was around 11, my brother took me to see Blink 182 and Less Than Jake, so I can almost pinpoint the day I got into music. My brother had always played so I had a built-in influence and teacher. So a bass and amp came along and I did that gig since I wasn't in sports and didn't have a job yet. I bought my brother's guitar around 17 and got into that so bass rode on the afterburner for a couple years. After a couple years of college, I played in some bands but never had the right fit until I jammed with Mike one nervous afternoon last summer. I actually tried out for guitar and got it, then realized I'm not a lead player, so I reverted back to bass and it's been the right move ever since. I love to play and write music, and I'm very excited for the near future of The Run* Thanks if you made it this far. Watch out for us. |

Today
TODAY, October 27th is the day of my birth. Over 23 years, I've amassed great friends, been with my beloved family, and experienced things that will shape me forever. It's great. I can honestly say I have no regrets in my life so far and that's liberating. I still believe age is just a number (unless she's under 18) and life shouldn't be so segmented by years. In the end, music is my best challenge and happiness and I encourage anyone who reads this to find their own place on their own path and be happy for yourself. Win/win/win.
